She graduated from Istanbul Law Faculty in 1988 and started working as a freelance lawyer in 1990. She has served as a lawyer and consultant for some of Turkey’s leading Non-Governmental Organizations, Media Outlets, and Commercial Organizations.
In 2001, Nimet Baş became a founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and was elected as a member of the Turkish Parliament from AK Party in the November 3, 2002 elections. She served in decision-making bodies such as the AK Party Central Decision and Executive Board and the Central Discipline Committee. During her time as a member of parliament, Nimet Baş also held positions in decision-making bodies such as the European Union Adaptation Commission, the Constitutional Committee, the Justice Committee, the EU Harmonization Committee, and the Joint Parliamentary Committee.
On June 2, 2005, she was appointed as the State Minister Responsible for Women and Family Affairs. On May 3, 2009, she became the Minister of National Education, becoming the first female Minister of National Education in the history of the Turkish Republic. Additionally, Nimet Baş held this position for 6.5 years, making her the longest-serving female minister in the history of the Republic. She was re-elected as a member of the Turkish Parliament from Istanbul in the general elections held on June 12, 2011.
Since 2016, she has been working as a lawyer again. She is the founder of NBB Law Office, which provides legal consultancy and attorney services to national and international companies and public institutions. She is also a member of the International Arbitration Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

He graduated from Istanbul Law Faculty in 1995 and started working as an independent lawyer in 1996. He provided legal counsel and attorney services to leading domestic and foreign-capital companies in Turkey as well as to Non-Governmental Organizations.
In 2013, he founded Bozat Law Partnership, and in 2016, he became a founding partner of NBB Law Office.
Registered with the Istanbul Bar Association, lawyer İbrahim Hakkı Bozat has practiced in various fields of law throughout his career, including Mining Law, Commercial Law, International Trade Law, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Market Law, Banking and Finance Law, Competition Law, Tax Law, Corporate Legal Consultancy, Energy and Infrastructure Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labor Law, Real Estate Law, Insurance Law, and Health Law.
He has been a member, manager, and president in various Non-Governmental Organizations and has been involved in social responsibility projects.
Currently, he continues his role as a founding partner and managing lawyer at NBB Law.

He graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2002. In 2006, he completed his master’s degree, and in 2012, he earned his Ph.D. He obtained the title of associate professor in 2017 and the title of professor in 2023. He currently works as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University.
He has served on the editorial board of the Legal Labor Law and Social Security Law Journal and has had translations of foreign court decisions, including those of the Swiss Federal Court, and numerous articles published in various journals. He has also authored a book titled “Legal Framework of Investments in Turkish Mining.”
Currently, he leads the Mining Law Department at NBB Law and provides legal counsel and attorney services to both domestic and foreign mining companies.
